Anyone else having a tough day?

Anyone else having a tough day?

O boy is today a rough day.  It is one of those days when ANYTHING, even the WIND on my skin hurts.  This is one of the most frustrating and confusing symptoms I have.  Anyone else have days like this?

For example I woke up with the feeling of the bed hurting me, feeling like it is pushing too hard on my skin or the muscle below it, When I got dressed I picked uthe loosest close I could find and a gentle waistband because that is one of my hyper sensitive areas.

But even with these precautions everything feels super sensitive/bruised feeling.

To others that have this symptom, have you found anything that helps?  Even laying down to rest hurts because every bump and ripple in the matress feels like punches, even with a memory foam topper.\

Does anyone have a matress that doesnt hurt? Or do I sound crazier than normal?
lol.  trying to keep a sense of humor today. :)

No, you're absolutely NOT crazy at all!  I can totally relate to what you're feeling.  I have many, many days where, as you say, just a slight breeze will send me into a major pain flare-up.  Unfortunately, I can't offer you any advice as to what might help - I haven't found anything myself.  When those days hit, I just have to keep changing position, etc., to just try and find something or some position that will give me at least a couple of minutes of relief.  Some days when I'm hurting a warm shower helps, but not on days like that, because the water hitting me is like getting jabbed with ice picks.

I sure wish I COULD find a mattress that was comfortable.  I'd love to be able to get one of those sleep number beds, so that I could adjust the firmness/softness as I needed to, however, they are so expensive, I simply cannot afford one.  Like I always say, it's a vicious cycle - we can't sleep because we are hurting and we are hurting more because we aren't sleeping properly.  I think it would be a great idea if insurance companies would cover the cost of GOOD mattresses if they were to be prescribed by your doctor - I honestly think it would save the insurance companies lots of money in the long run as it could potentially cut way down on the number of prescriptions and doctor visits that they pay for now.

I hope you find something to get some relief soon - if you find something that works, please let me know so I can try it too!
