I was just wondering if anyone has ever had a daytime sleep test? I saw my neurologist for the first time today and he ordered a daytime sleep test for me because of the fact I doze off all the time during the day & just generally feel exhausted! I can't seem to accomplish a simple task w/out having to sit & rest & being soooo tired by the time I finally am done! Anyway I guess hes checking for narcolepsy so I get to go to a lab on thursday & actually fall asleep on purpose w/out feeling guilty about it! Also.what kinds of meds are everybody on for CFS? I need something thats going to keep me awake & possibly give me some energy to finally get my house clean! Thanks for any info anyone can give me!
There might be a narcolepsy and carbs connection.
Narcoleptics may have more copies of gluten sensitivity genes.
If you are getting most of your calories from carbs, this is a possibility.
I suggest you try, irregardless of percentage of calories from carbs
to total caloric intake, going carb free for two weeks, as an experiment.
If you feel better, continue for 2 more weeks gluten free and monitor the results carefully.
If no change, you may have a gluten sensitivity (not allergy).
If worse, you may have a Candida overgrowth and or carb metabolic impairement with high tartaric levels (tissue toxin).
See my previous reply to you a couple days ago.
