Hi MJDreamer.
Look at possible underlying causes like adrenal fatigue leading also to
possible low thyroid function and a myriad of other symptoms with a good likelihood of mimicking Fibromyalgia.
Note that adrenal fatigue is not recognized by conventional Endocrinology.
Your best bet is an ND.
Also if you're experiencing ongoing thyroid issues, you need Free T3, Free T4 and Reverse T3 testing. Standard serum testing for TSH, T3 and T4 do not reveal cellular function. Again, NDs are preferred over Endos, who
adhere to their strict and perhaps controversial protocols.
This is not intended to replace medical advice.
If you need further details post again or send me a message.
Best wishes.
Niko

Chronic fatigue syndrome, mental stress are few conditions which can mimic fibromyalgia. Muscle weakness, pain ,burning pain and fatigue are few of the common symptoms of fibromyalgia. Medications like Duloxetione, pregabalin and Milnacipram have been approved for treating fibromyalgia.Duloxetine, Lyrica, and milnacipran are medications that are approved specifically for treating fibromyalgia. The goal of treatment in this condition is to improve sleep and pain tolerance. Medicines should always be used along with exercise and behavior therapy.
