Hi there,

I have not been diagnosed but I have a host of symptoms. Is burning muscles a symptom. They burn when in use ie: walking up stairs, typing, brushing teeth, sometimes my stomach muscles burn just from breathing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Everything except the low white blood count is common in CFS, including stabbing pains, vibrating (restless leg syndrome), canker sores, pins and needles more easily and the others.  While I've never heard low count as part of cfs, people will have all sorts of strange things on their lab test results so it still could be it.  That's part is one to ask your doctor.  Toddlers means tired, but you're getting my than that.  While CFS symtpoms are very hard to describe to a doctor and sound weird and vague, they actually have a particular description/pattern to them and yours do fit.

thanks for your response. My symptoms are as follows.

burning muscles when using them, even breathing sometimes
achy
stabbing pains throughout body here and there, can't pin point if it is muscle or bone
twitching/muscle spasms
irritable bladder
vibrating feeling in legs when in bed
canker sores
sleeping issues
pins and needles seem to happen more easily than before
low white blood count 3.2

all of these symptoms get worse when I don't get enough sleep. By the way I am a 34 yr old female with 2 toddlers.

It is FM common.  For a more detailed explanation - It's likely a quick lactic acid buildup during use because with FM/CFS they function in the anerobic state, instead switching to aerobic like they are  supposed to.  It's a little like the "feel the burnt" sensation of overworked exercise programs, but for tasks that shouldn't be a bother at all.  They can be achy afterward or even in intense pain.    Shortness of breath, i.e. trouble getting enough breath because of muscle fatigue is common too.   What are the rest of your symptoms?  Do you suspect FM/CFS?
