I've had FM for over 12 years. It does sound like fibromyalgia. If you are getting the headaches try to avoid caffeine, chocolate, cheese, peanuts. Doing that has helped my headaches. In addition drink 60 or more ounces of water daily.
As for the pain, go to a good rheumatologist. Dr. Andrew Holman is the best in the seattle area. He does take calls and if you are not in his area he might be able to find a doctor for you.
It's such a hard diagnosis, I wish you the best. Also look at your thryoid, even if your blood work is normal research thryroid issues and see if you have symptoms. If you do try to get your doc to put you on low dose thryroid meds. There is a link between thyroid and fm.
Take care!
Can you think of what started these symptoms.? Was it an accident, extreme stress, and illness? It could be fibro . Find a wholistic doctor who does electrodermal testing and have yourself tested for airborn and food allergies. Also have an oxalic acid test.Once you get allergy neutralization drops and adjust your diet regarding high oxalate foods and yeasts a great deal of your pain should be alleviated.
