Can fibro make your thyroid go haywire

To everyone,
I also have had a hypothyroid condition for the last five years and have been taking levothyroid all this time. Just last week I had a blood test and my thyroid leves were out of range and said I had hyperthyroid going on now. My question is does anyone know if fibro can throw the thyroid off balance?
Looking forward to some answers,
Frankie

I think that it's more likely the thyroid is causing some of the fibro symptoms (not the reverse).  Many who have fibro also have an undetected thyriod problem that does not show up in routine blood testing.  But no, I don't believe that having fibro causes problems with thyroid and have not seen any type information that would indicate otherwise.

I hope you feel better soon and take care.
