Can surgery put you into a flare?

I recently went through surgery and now I feel I am in a flare now. Could you tell me if it is the result of my recent surgery.

I never thought about it, but I do think 2 years ago when I had a c-section....it created a flare-up!

Yes.. surgery can definitely cause a fibro flare !  I recently sent this link to another member who was getting elective surgery. It is guidance for fibro patients who are having surgery, so that they can help reduce a fibro flare. There are some measures you can take to reduce the fibro-flare you will probably get after surgery.
