Constat Pain

Yes, I am in continual pain, I wake up and feel hung over and my body aches, horribly.  Sometimes I feel like it takes about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before I can really get up and get moving.  I feel very stiff and  old, and I am only 38.  I do not drink, smoke, or use any type of drugs and the pain continues on a daily basis.  I am not sure what is going on but when I talk with the doctor, they just want to throw pain medications at me, and that is not what I want.  I want a solution to the proplem, not a quick fix.  If anyone can help me, please let me know.

Years ago I went to a cancer clinic and thought it was very sad that 1/2 the people wouldn't survive. Over the years I've learned that cancer is one of the few illnesses that doctors can heal 1/2 the time. Bacterial infections can often be healed. Other then cancer and infections, doctors usually are only able to treat not heal.  Your own body can heal on it's own sometimes, but if it doesn't, I'm sorry to say you can only rely on doctors to treat illness, not cure them. It is sad in the beginning when you realize that this isn't going to go away, but you do learn how to work with the problems somewhat. Diet supplements and exercise have been the most effective treatment that I've been able to find that I can control. I do take pain pills several times a day along with hydrocortizone. Good Luck.

Where is your pain located? Is it all over, can you pinpoint exactly where it is, or does it just radiate throughout your body?
I would ask your doctor about Lyrica. I don't know if you have heard of it, but it works wonders for my. My pain is still there, but it's not severe...more mild to moderate. It wouldn't hurt to try. My doctor said, "If it works, great. If it doesn't we'll try to find something different."
And I definitely agree with ChitChatNine, ask for a complete thyroid panel. I have a hyperactive thyroid as well as fibromyalgia. I was told it's not uncommon to be diagnosed with both at the same time.
I hope this helped a little :)
I hope you start to feel better.

Hi,

I'm sure you'll get great replies here, but I saw your ? on our Questions for You app and wanted to stop by to suggest to be sure you mention Vit D and a complete Thyroid panel to your Dr when they evaluate your symptoms.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon,

C~
