Cymbalta

I have been in pain for years. No one could seem to find out what was wrong. I would have bad chest pains, like a cramp. I get cramps or tiwttes all over my body. I found out I have fibromyalgia. The Dr put me on cymbalta 60 mg. I went back and told him I was still hurting and felt drepress more, crying. He upped the cymbalta to 120 mg a day. I fell sad and dont feel like my self. I am still hurting but not as bad. Can someone help me please!

go see a functional medicine doctor. They get to the route problem of your issues and don't try and mask it with prescription drugs.

You may have to go through a relm of trying different medications before you find something that actually works. A lot of us are on cocktails of medication to help us through our days. This could be a lengthy time before finding out if something actually works or not. Somethings may work for a while then stop. It is well known that a lot of us have immune systems that get used to meds very quickly then the meds stop working. A lot of us have very poor immune systems and are almost always constantly sick with one thing or another. Getting the proper sleep and eating well is very important. Everything needs to be balanced. Low impact exercise such as walking or treading water may help. Warm water therapies may help for some of us such as jacuzzi tubs or hot tubs. Tens machines work for me in helping my muscles to get realeased from the knots they get into. If you have more than just fibro, such as arthritis or lupis or something else, each individual problem needs to be treated as one problem. There may be medications that can help with multiple problems but everything is trial and error. I hope this helps you out tremendously. Good luck!
