Dizziness and frequent urination? Fibromyalgia?

Have had a strange constellation of symptoms for about eight months now and no diagnosis so far.
Started suddenly one day after what I thought was a panic attack and hasn't relented since.
Have:
Symptoms of prostatitis (poor urinary stream, weak ejaculation, perineal twitching and pain). Urine seems a little more yellow than usual.
Fasciculations / muscle twitches -- more or less all over body; not there all the time and I seem to have tied these to episodes of GERD.
Occasionally tinnitus and ear pain.
Strange constant feeling of dizziness, or more like brain fog (no spinning sensation just a vague sense of imbalance).
Pressure in head occasionally.
Tiredness and waking up tired.

Have had extensive blood tests (two sets of metabolic panels, full CBCs, CRP, INR), MRIs of head and spine, chest xray, and nothing has turned up so far.

Any ideas what this could be?

Hey Nick,

Thank you for the quick response.

I'll look into those thyroid tests. I should have added that I've already had all the basics (T3, T4, TSH) but this might be a route worth pursuing.

I should also have pointed out that out of all the many strange symptoms I have pain is about the only one I haven't had -- so many I was jumping at straws a bit posting in the fibo forum.

I have read about candida and must admit that I'm deeply skeptical, but I do eat an insanely high carb diet (I'm a bread addict!) so it has been at the back of my mind that there could be a connection.

Anyway, thanks again for your reply.

Hey droc2013, welcome to the forum.

It doesn't sound like Fibromyalgia.
I would suggest you rule out low thyroid function first, as in low thyroid conditions, any organ, any bodily system can be affected and functioning at sub-optimum levels.

Note: Re:Thyroid testing

Thyroid Serum testing is flawed, as it is not necessarily
indicative of  cellular thyroid function !
Most conventional doctors order TSH,T3 and T4 at best.
You need to ask and insist for Free T3, FreeT4 and Reverse T3 to determine accurately your thyroid function.
You can also do on your own Dr. Barnes Basal Temperature test for thyroid function, just follow the online instructions precisely.

Another thing to look into is Leaky Gut Syndrome and Candida.

-Leaky gut syndrome.

Any foods that go undiagested or partially diagested past the stomach ( due to low gastric acid or when someone suffers from leaky gut) , substances from ingested foods and liquids leak out from the intestinal wall (intestinal permeability)and end up in the tissues or the blood stream, causing havok.
Inflammation, toxicity, lowered immunity are some of the results and unfortunately the medical community does not address this well at all!
I do not think this even taught in medical schools, so in the absence of an
established  medical diagnosis for leaky gut syndrome, there would be no proper treatment, other than symptom management.

The test to ask for this is a simple urine called PEG.
It is very important to rule this out, specially if you have/had candida.
For an easy self-screening test, do a search for saliva test for candida.

I hope this helps but please note that my comments are not intended as a replacement for medical advice.

Please post again and let me know how it's going.

Cheers!
Nick
