FM & Shaky Hands??

FM & Shaky Hands??

Hi,

I've recently started a summer research position which is really pushing me physically (day 1 was exhausting, day 2 was as bad but also left me very very sore). I finished my 3rd day and feel incredibly wiped out. Earlier today, I had to label some small tubes with a marker pen but couldn't write clearly because my hands wouldn't stop shaking. If I stick my hands out they don't shake usually and if they do it is only very slight & not nearly to the degree it did this morning. I thought it was due to low blood sugar because I didn't take my morning tea break. However, after lunch, I was trying to transfer some solution from a curvette (about 1cm x 1cm) but the lecturer had to do it for me because of my shaky hands.

I know it definitely gets worse if I don't eat frequently enough but it was still bad enough for someone else to step in after I had a full meal. Was wondering if this is just due to the huge strain my body has been put under the last couple of days & if anyone else with FM has had a similar experience. Is this part of the illness or something else that I should bring up with my doctor?

Thanks

I should also probably mention that even if I rest my elbow on the bench in an effort to 'stablise' it, the shakes are not any better.
