Fibro Symptoms

When you get fibro can you get symptoms of extreme tightness in chest and a feeling of not being able to feel your heartbeat in your chest. It feels like my heart is beating a little weaker than it usually does. Even when I get nervous or excited it feels like my heart isn't reacting. I have had heart tests done (strees echo and EKG's and a event monitor) and I even had my adrenal and thyroid levels taken and my doc said everything is fine but my chest area still feels really strange. I also have really bad fatigue. not like I am tired but like my body is. I do have muscle pain in my chest. When I flex my muscles in my chest they feel really sore. I feel like I walk around with them flexed all day and they won't relax. I also get headaches and pressure in my head when i'm having this feeling in my chest. Can anyone let me know if fibro could cause this?

Hi ! Well I don't have a fibro diagnosis (I have CFS), but it is possible that I have secondary fibromyalgia. I haven't bothered to have the tender point testing done because I figure the treatment that I'm doing covers both of these conditions.

Anyway, with my CFS I have had chest symptoms. I used to sometimes get pleurisy like symptoms and also would get costochondritis.

As far as the heart problems.... with CFS, I've had tachycardia, my heart feel like it is skipping beats and sometimes my heart will even feel like it is doing flip flops.
