Fibro fog?

I have developed a very strange symptom. I have noticed lately, that I am having trouble remembering how to spell. I have always been excellent. No, really, I'm serious. It bothers me a lot. I can look at a word and know it's wrong, but don't know how to fix it.  Anybody else have this problem. Also have developed what I call restless arm syndrom. My arms feel "creepy", and like they have bugs crawling uder them.  This is new in the past month. Anybody else experience this. Maybe the dr's ar right.it's all in my head! LOL

So glad I'm (not) crazy. LOL It just is so NOT me. I'm so thankful for your reply. I really was getting worried about the problem. Had never seen that listed as a symptom. Would be interested if there is a way to re-train the brain.hum, that rhymed!  Hope you're having a good day.

Yep, CFS is all in our heads.  Well some of it is....with the cognitive problems my spelling got worse.  It was already bad, so it became impossible.  I've sat there trying to spell something simple like "before" and have to play tricks to figure it out.  And I can't look it up in the dictionary because I have no idea what to begin it with.  All this is closely related to the word finding trouble that's so typical of fibrofog.  So...good news, you're doing CFS/FM the right way!!  (I'm joking.)  While restless leg syndrome has the word leg in it, it at happen to all sorts of parts of the body...  Mine goes away when I sleep so i guess I'm very lucky.

For the language trouble stuff I've gotten better over time, and my doctor and I agree that it's probably a building up of new brain pathways to replace the troubled ones.  He's exploring a set of cognitive exercises from a PT for another illness to see if it helps with CFS.  (I can look at the websites at later time if you happen to be more interested.)
