I have been on Cymbalta in the past and had no luck with that! I have been on the Lyrica since the 1st, and haven't really noticed any difference other than being more tired and mentally slow.
The only medicine I have been on that helped me, in the past 19 months, has been 6mp. Its a low-dose chemotherapy, which for obvious reasons, the doctors try to avoid! My Rheumatologist did mention that we would be trying other drugs before trying a different chemotherapy called Remicaid.
We'll see how the pills go... I don't mind the chemo, but I would prefer to avoid it!
I hope you can find the right medicine!!
Have you found anything that helps?
I took it and did not help the pain. I complained about the tiredness and the slow mind and he doubled the dose. I took it thinking the fog would go away. It did not and i could not tell any difference in the pain. I quit taking it 2 weeks ago when I ran out and the pharmacy was giving me trouble again. So i just cut back then stopped. I am no worse than I was when I was taking it. And I can think now. Talking to the doctor next week to try something else. I also tried cymbalta and cymbalta with the lyrica and they did not help the pain. The cymbalta was making me moody and irritable and i just wanted to be left alone. I could not keep my grandkids so my md put me back on celexa
Hope it hellps you
Thanks! Maybe this drug is the reason I feel mentally drained and confused a lot.
Thank you!
I tried it and found myself mentally slow, unable to focus and write college papers and potential weight gain, so I stopped Lyrica after a month or longer. Some folks say it helps with fibro. I am not one of those.
Best wishes.
