Frightening Dreams!! Anyone else?

I had a horrible night last night, I kept having the same horrible dream over and over. I was diagnosed with Fibro 8 months ago, is this something that happens to anyone else?  I've been having a rough couple of days and this dream absolutely scared me spitless. I woke up this morning in a full blown flare and feel as though a train hit me.

Thank you Ree for your reply. I'm still having a rough time this morning, although I did take a sleeping pill last night and thank goodness I didn't have a dream one. The muscles in my neck and back are so tight it hurts to move. I had to put on my darker sunshades because my eyes felt as though they were going to explode. It's time to lay back down and try to relax, if that's at all possible. Take care.

I have fibro and yes, I have had horrible dreams where I woke up practically jumping out of my bed and actually hurt a muscle in my back. Also dreams where I wake up and I am kicking or punching.  Violent dreams can definitely cause fibro to flare because our muscles aren't resting.  Some medications cause horrible dreams for me.

Warmest Regards,
