Remember that politics played a role in this illness... the same politics I suppose that are involved with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and fibromyalgia. Of course all of these "syndromes" are central nervous system disorders. I know CFS expert, Dr. Nancy Klimas, is now doing a study analyzing the role of gene expression patterns in the symptoms of Gulf War Illness compared to ME/CFS.

I read this and it brought tears to my eyes.  Here we send our own people to battle under the pretenses of keeping our freedom and they return home with illnesses, infecting their loved ones, while those who intentionally caused the harm deny their wrongdoing.  

Yes, we both believe the same culprits are responsible for this, as well as other neuroimmune illness.  While they may eventually have to own up to this incident, they will never own up to other methods of testing the 'fruits of their labor' on innocents.

Some might disagree this thought, but I feel that what induces FMS is the same as that of CFS because they are so strikingly similar.  Just as with MS stages, these are being presented by manifesting itself in stages (taking into consideration ones immune health and response, genetics, what causes the on-set and such).  I have to admit that i'm very frustrated that it seems Fibromyalgia has taken a back seat to everything else, though it can be just as debilitating.  Very seldom do we hear about it and when we do it's to downplay its existence.  It's now become a household word...just like 'you've got a cold'...now it's 'you've got fibro'.  **sighing**
