Thankyou VaBreeze, I went and read all those posts. Very informative and I may even post a question for the expert. I keep having these weird incidents, kind of numb and tingling all over and I want to know if I should be worried. My regular doctor said to give the medicine time to see if it takes care of it, but when you are in the middle of it, it's not reassuring!
So thank you!!

Here is a link where others are talking about the cardiac spasms. I hope you feel better soon.
VaBreeze, the blocked artery doesn't cause the spasms, the spasms come from the heart muscle that basically squeezes them shut and you lose oxygen/blood. He went into the blocked artery and would have put a stent in but I had a major spasm so he couldn't. We have to try and control the spasms first, then he will try the stent again. Thanks for asking!
PlateletGal, I agree with you. I have read the Health Pages and done other research and it sure indicates the EBV. I hope the medicine works! This EBV has done a number on my body but I will just keep researching and coming on here and things will get better! Thanks!
I wouldn't put anything past EBV. I know that many CFS patients have heart issues (listed in our health pages). I haven't read about cardiac spasms in CFS patients, but I know with this illness, anything is possible.
Viral myocarditis is a virus that attacks the heart. Knowing this and about heart problems in CFS.... I agree with you.
Sorry to hear about your heart problems and hope they get everything under control.
If you have a blocked artery, would that not cause the spasms? Did they unblock it while you were there?
