Hello and new here

Just wanted to say hello to everyone! I'm just recently diagnosised with Fibromyalgia.   My pain management doctor dx'd me, after touching me in about 6 different places. He then gave me a prescription for Cymbalta and that seems to be helping me. Any good places to research fibroyalgia out there?

Welcome, and soft hugs to you too!  I also take Cymbalta at night. Tizanidine for muscle spasm pain. I have tried Lyrica, but couldn't deal with the side issues, but it was really helping the fibro pain. Most medical websites, or just google fibromyalgia, and you'll find more information than you can ever read. Try not to overdo when you have good days, will set off a flare.  Be like the turtle, slow & steady.With a new diagnosis, there is an overwhelming amount of information to absorb, and remember. Especially if you get fibro "fog"  Be sure to get lots of rest. Hope this made some sense to you. Welcome again, please ask any questions you might have, and I'll try to help if I can.

Tizanidine good.  Gabapentin questionable in my opinion.  Take the good advice from LLWB researching subject too much does cause a flare.
