I don't know if this is Fibro or not

About a month ago I went to the Mayo Clinic ER with chest pains. They did a stress test, and injected some stuff in me while I was on the tread mill and did a heart scan. Also ekg. They said my heart was fine and it was prob the Fibro.
The last couple of weeks I've been feeling like all the blood is rushing to my head and my ears are ringing very loud (never have before). Tonight I got dizzy, started sweating and felt nausious. I feel very tight in the upper part of my body.
I don't know if I should look into it further or if this part of the Fibro. My husband thinks it's the Fibro cuz I've had my heart checked 3 or 4 times in the last year and they found nothing. I worry about clogged arteries and wonder if there is something wrong in my neck. I don't want to sound like a hydorcondriac (sp?) and run to the Dr everytime I feel "different" cuz I know Fibro does some weird stuff sometimes. I don't know what I should do. What would you all do? Should I call a Cardiologist and ask them what they think? Or does this sound like an anxiety attack?
After I was sweating for a little while I started to get the chills and got cold.
I hate this. I never know what to do and I hate running to the Drs for everything and just have them tell me it's nothing.

Personally, I don't know for sure if it could be Fibro, but anytime you have chest pains, I would think you should have it checked out.  Even if they did test, you never want to risk a heart attack.  But, I have had some of the things you have mentioned before and was told it was the Fibro as well - although not quite as severe as yours.

Maybe contact a regular cardiologist and make an appointment and tell them what you are feeling.  There could be something there - but I'm not a doctor and so I'd rather caution on the side of precaution and having it checked out - if that makes sense.

Good luck!

I'm almost 99% sure what you are describing is anxiety attacks.  I've suffered with them off and on most of my adult life.  I've done the hospital heart thing.  Your mind can play lots of tricks on you and it starts to believe what your thinking could be true.  Just you mentioning how much you worry about things can trigger an anxiety attack.  You need to work on the negative thoughts.  Hope that helps.  I'm on here because what I thought may be RA now I'm thinking is Fibro which I know nothing about.

Thanks. I don't know much about anxiety. Can it hit you out of the blue? Sometimes I'll must be watching TV or be on the computer and it will hit me for no reason.
Fibro is so complicated. It's hard to know if it's that or something else.

It can definitely come out of nowhere.  Years ago, I had severe panic attacks and the worst would come about an hour after I fell asleep.  Others would happen at random during the day.  I don't have them anymore but since I got diagnosed w/fibro (last summer) I can sometimes feel like one is trying to start.  Of course, it could just be my crazy life lol!

My life is not stressful and I have a great family so I don't know why I have anxiety attacks. I used to teach 2 yr old Sunday School, go to church every week and stuff like that but now I don't like to go anywhere because I hurt so much. I go to the store and I'm fine for the most part but sometimes I feel the anxiety attack coming on. I never was like this til I got this Fibro. I hate it.

Anxiety can come out of no where at anytime.  When I start to feel it coming I say bring it on I can handle you and it usually just goes away.  I've learned to do that for years now and it worked so well that it's almost like has given up on me.  I don't know what the connection is between anxiety and fibro though.  I guess just having fibro can make you have negative thoughts about life in general.  I say seek help now before it gets out of control.  Best of luck to you!
