I have a new problem & I thought I had them all Help if you have the same!

I was diagnosed in 1998 & they told me I have every thing that comes with it. I've been OK with that until now! I don't understand any of it really because I'm the only person I know with it. I have not had Internet until last week.So research was out.My doctors well we all now how they are, they just tell you what you have then send you on your way scared & crying.My new problem is well me & my husband of 12 years was in the middle of inter course when I had a muscle spasm. I have them every time we do anything or I can't have an orgasm. But this time I hate my self for saying  it was a rectal spasm & well you can imagine what happened then! I cried! That has never happened to me in my 31 years. My husband did not get mad at me, but I could see it in his eyes the look of fear! He has been by my side for all of this crap but that is the line I am drawing. How do I fix this or can I? If I can't what will happen to my marriage, sex life, or  ME! I hate to put this out on the Internet but I need help. I don't have friends. I don't go out I hurt to much or am in the bed for my 3 day stay I get. I have gotten worse in the last 5 years. I don't know if it was from the birth of my son or the death of my father but my Fibro. seams to be kills me in every way. So if there is anyone that can help me please I will be forever grateful.

What meds are you on?  Perhaps you should ask your doctor to prescribe a muscle relaxant and see if that helps.  I'm just recently diagnosed and am still trying to come to terms that this is my new normal.

Reading your post really hit home for me I have been with my husband for 13 yrs and I too am no longer able to come to an orgasm with or without husband.  I only have pain during intercourse, it started years ago as the occasional bad cramping during intercourse or after orgasm. It just got worse. I was checked by Gyno and all was fine. GP couldn't find anything either. So over these 13 yrs so many things have seemed to go wrong with my health and mostly alway the DR's would say they found nothing and tell me it was stress. 4 yrs ago I was told I have type 2 diabeties. This last year after my father died I became so bad I could hardly get out of bed for days so with all else ruled out by DR's I am told I have fibromylgia (fibromyalgia). I have been researching and so far have no answers myself why it hurts to have intercourse but I thought it might help to know that you are not the only one. i have tried viagra once it did not help me achieve the O but it did make me more responsive to my husband down there and way way less cramping.

I take 2 muscle relaxers but it don't help they are for MS & the other is  for RLS. I have tried them all. The main problem with muscle relaxers & me is I have a high tolerance so most all meds don't work.I have to take the highest dose of everything just to have some help from them. At first I thought it could be the trazodone I take 150 Mg's every night but that is not it. So I'm at a lose. I'm starting to worry if it's my shocks that I get in my head that my be adding to some of the extra problems. They are getting worse everyday. I have asked the doctors to please retest me for MS it is more understandable for me to have both. I have Fibro yes but some of these things are not they are more of a MS thing. With Fibro you can't have all the MS symptoms but I do. I'm a walking science experiment gone horribly wrong. lol I got a letter in the mail Friday saying that my as the doctors are concerned I do have some form or Tourette's. My ticks are now covering half my body. I do know that Fibromyalgia mostly can come from something traumatic in your life. A sever sickness as a child or any number of diseases can give it to you. I have had more than anyone could think one person an go throw so maybe that's why it's so severe. I didn't know it could get worse. I was tolled that MS is the one that has different levels not Fibromyalgia. It only has one.

I actually read that Fibro does have different levels and most certainly can affect some much more severe than others.

you said you read that Fibro has no levels. That would make so may people happy to know. I was told it did but they don't know anything really. God forbid they stopped to hear what we say to them & learn from us. lol  The main problem Doctors have is they think they know more about our bodies than we do. On somethings they do but most often than not they don't. So they tell us we are wrong that can not happen to you or it's in your mind. You don't really have that problem you just have a brain telling you that. I have heard that to many times from them & come to find out I was right. I just think we need to stand up to them if we know they are wrong & fight for help. Not saying don't ever believe them just to listen to your body & see if it's your brain or body.
