Is Fibromyalgia Progressive

Alright, I am 23 years old and I have been progressively getting sicker and sicker for two years now. The best guess is Fibromyalgia. It started with mild headaches and has developed into pain everywhere (mostly joints and muscles in my legs) I also have IBS, fatigue, severe migraine / tension headaches, I also have been having kidney problems (stones) but In these past two years it has gotten so much worse.  I am begining to have a hard time just to do normal everyday tasks, I am unable to work right now because of how bad things have gotten. well i guess what i really want to know is if fibromyalgia progressive, I am only 23 and already having a hard time what is life going to be like 10 years from now? At this rate i feel like i will be bed ridden or something. is there any information or advise anyone can give me??

Thanks

Yes... definitely let us know when your labwork comes back. Also, you may want to check out our health pages (if you haven't already done so). There is a page called "Newly Diagnosed" and we list many conditions that physicians usually rule out before making a CFS or fibromyalgia diagnosis.

I am very fatigued, and yes if I push myself I definately pay for it the nes day. They have just done another round of blood work yesterday and they are checking for Lupus and also RA, they are now thinking RA due to the fact that I was fine durring my pregnancy and within weeks after it had gotten to a whole other level. Which evidently RA goes into remission durring pregnancy. I dont know but I am grateful that at least they are looking.

have they checked you ANA level?  This is one of many test for an autoimmune discorder.  Some of the symptoms you described could be lupus relted.
