I too am no doctor, but if you've been on prednisone for 12 years it's very likely that your adrenal glands have forgotten how to properly function on their own to produce the right amounts of cortisol for your body to work on its own. My advice is to seek out the opinion of an Endocrinologist in the most healthy way to wean off of the prednisone. That way the doctor can monitor your adrenal functions and make sure you don't have an adrenal crisis situation. I hope this helps.

I am not a doctor but I think it's the lyrica. I also predict it will be taken off the market. Xanax should not be used nightly. Once in awhile is fine. It helps with muscle tension and anxiety. It's also highly addictive.
Try to ice your neck during the day. 20 minutes on and 20 off. I've had 3 neck surgeries and suffer with a lot of neck pain. Usually when my neck is acting up it's inflammation. Icing it will really help and should help with the numbness you are experiencing.
I would also see your regular doctor. Explain you need something for sleep. There is something called trazadone. It's minimal side effects, it too does not have to be taken nightly. There is also something called Methocarbonal, it's an anti-inflammatory.
I am not a doctor but combinations of these medications can really cause so many of the side effects your are experiencing. I am not recommending you stop taking any of your meds, ALWAYS talk to your doctor but if it is not working talk to your doctor and/or see another doctor for another opinion.
