Knee sensation

I'm having sensations like warm water is being poured over my knee. What can cause this.

  Thought it was very weird sensation. I have had back damage and some nerve loss and damage . So probably just consequenses from all that.   Thanks again.  Jaki

Those feelings are called paresthesias.  It's nerve pain like Ree4tu said.  I've had every sensation  from water dripping to water splashing, like when you feel the light spray from the hose, cold sensation, crawling and tingling, burning, cold etc..They are very disturbing.  I've had them from head to toe.  I never could tell whether there was really water there or not.  Most of the time it was just paresthesias.

Sounds like it could be neurological or nerve related, but check with your healthcare provider. Nerve pain can cause all kinds of strange sensations.
