Medications

Has anybody heard of methocarbamol 750mg 2x per day for pain? I was taking something else nub*****tone anybody? when i went to refill the nu*******tone they gave me methocarbamol said the doctor changed it. I don't get it I never called the doctor and the pharmacy said there was a written one( prescr.) for 5 days after the orginial prescribition. Any way anybody heard of it I can't call the doctor till tomorrow. Thanks in advance!

I take methocarbomal, it's an wonderful muscle relaxant. It has help significantly on days that I just can't move. However, it is very different then nabumetone, if that is what you are talking about, nabumetone is an NSAID. So I don't know why the doctor changed it without your knowledge. I would call your doctor....

Thanks for the advise. I'm on hold right now with my doctor's office. Well they don't see where my meds have changed but that's just the receptionist I have to wait till they call back now. But I don't feel any results from the methocarbamol 750mg 2x daily. Does it take a while to become effective? The rain is killing me and they have forcasted another day of rain tomorrow. This has been going on four years now without relief. I can't take another day of pain and rain.
