Thank you for the time it took you to respond!!
With the ABX treatment I have Candida so bad, I even have the headache and other symptoms. It took my doctor too long to take it seriously. All he said was for me to take probiotics and avoid carbs.
He finally heard me last visit when I told him I had taken things into my own hands and took Diflucan for a head start and bought the probiotic therapy Three Lac.
Now with your help, I can better follow a low carb regimen.
FROG-
I'll hand this thread back to Frog.
This is merely my opinion but anything taken for PMS symptoms would benefit FM symptoms.
What do you have, that you are thinking of using?

I would look into the gaps diet which is based on the specific carbohydrate diet. Just do a search. They offer a descent list
I have the book that does not contain the intro diet, however, I would avoid also the juice and fruits for a month per year from the onset of the symptoms of your condition plus 3.
For example, if you became symptomatic 5 years ago, it means 8 months minimum off any fruits. Adhering to this protocol is of vital importance, as the body reverts back to the previous state almost immediately. And then you must start over again.
For the rest you can follow their guidelines.
Meanwhile ensure that you are supplementing properly
to make up for any nutrients you might be missing from your diet.
Beware of illegal ingredients in anything you ingest, including meds and supplements.
Unfortunately most meds are loaded with "illegal" ingredients and you have to discuss this with your doctor. Pharmaceutical companies are required to disclose information pertaining to ingredients not allowed to be taken by certain patients.
So if your Doctor has your list, he has to look into it for you.
Please take time to research properly all this.
It's like taking a health course, and the more you learn the more empowered you become in dealing  with your own health matters more effectively.
Message me or post if you have any questions.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta.

Would you be so kind as to post a link to a list of the foods allowed and ones to avoid.
I've found some but none seem concise as to the relation to candida growth.
The other distinction I cannot find is the difference between complex and simple carbs in a list form.
I found an app but you have to search the particular food first to find it's properties. Lists work best for me.
Thanks

Hey frog1703,
Welcome to the forum.

Ask your doctor to have your Tartaric Acid levels tested.
It is usually very elevated in in most FMS patients that experience significant muscle and joint pain. Elevated PMS pain is often indicative of high Tartaric acid levels as well.
Tartaric acid interferes with the Krebs cycle which is your major energy producing cycle and  is a muscle toxin.
Also, if your doctor is not a LLMD (lyme literate medical doctor) do a search and find one asap! You could be suffering unnecessarily for the rest of your life. You should be tested for Lyme and Pathogenic Mycoplasma co-infections.
For now, an antifungal diet (no carbs,no sugars,no yeast) should help,
as the main source of tartaric acid is yeast and fungal metabolites.
Just do a search to get lists of the all the foods allowed and the ones to avoid.
Consuming Extra Virgin Coconut Oil will help significantly.
Check this out at the coconut research website
It is a bit tough to follow such a protocol, but your body will Thank you greatly for that.
Let me know how it develops. If you need more info post again or message me.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta
