Possible symptoms?

I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia while also suffering from stress, anxiety and depression. Recently I have been feeling extremely nausious and have had horrible stomach pains. Sometimes I feel extremely constipated while other times I have sudden urges to go to the bathroom. Could this be related? I dont drink and have a fairly healthy diet. I have just turned 20. Can anyone please offer me some advice? Thanks :)

Have your doctor test you for an HHV6 reactivation and to see if your titres are high.  If it shows a reactivation, have him test for Babesia and Bartonella.  Both are intracellular chronic infections that are benign unless you are immunocompromised.  The Lymes/Mycoplasmas are the trigger.  The HHV6 titre test is a quick way to begin a diag that your doctors will never figure out.  The HHV6 virus is usually "caught" at an early age and goes dormant.  It becomes active when you are immune compromised.  HHV6 has been implicated in demyilinization and Multiple Sclerosis.  MS is bacterially and virally triggered when compromised.

Yes, I pretty much have constant pain in my lower back and abdomen. I tried probiotics as well but again, that didnt work. Been taking Naproxen, Co-codamol and been wearing heat patches to ease the pain but it doesnt really help as the pain is more uncomfortable then sore if that makes sense.
My doctor is now testing me for Lupus and I have started taking meds for IBS (feel like I am rattling with pills atm!!)
I am with you when you say you feel sorry with people with our condition. I t is horrible living your day to day life in constant pain.

P.S sorry for the late reply.
Take care x

Hi, just joined and read your comment.  I have had fibro for probably 20 years.  I recently  9or in the last 3 months) have had belching, nausea (which is getting worse)  Have had an ultrasound, stool test for H pylori. and the dr. has told me to eliminate coffee, dairy, alcohol.  Have been pretty good but sneak in a coffee some mornings.  Anyhow, I am having terrible soreness in my mid back and abdomen.  Not what I call usual intestinal cramping pain, but terrible sore., and in my back especially right side this pain and burning.  Or you getting something like that.  I don't kow what is going on, and I can't fix it.  So I so understand.  I did by some probiotics and want to try that for a while.  Sorry for both of us and all out there with the same

Here is one of the researchers/professors credentials that I have been in contact with who agrees with my studies and is an expert on infectious mycoplasmas

Burroughs Wellcome Medal of the Royal Society of Medicine (United Kingdom), Stephen Paget Award of the Metastasis Research Society, the U. S. National Cancer Institute Outstanding Investigator Award, Innovative Medicine Award of Canada, Albert Schweitzer Award, Upjohn Education Award

Publications
Published over 600 medical and scientific papers (including 3 Current Contents Citation Classics), edited 16 books, served on the Editorial Boards of 30 medical and scientific journals and served as Senior Editor of 3 medical and scientific journals.

I think his work and expertise is more acceptible than a Rheumatologist or a PCP or any other run of the mill person with a PHD MD diploma hanging.

Let me be blunt here since some think that when you "get" an autoimmune disease that several more can pile up.  Old information that needs to go away, kinda how people were told stomach ulcers were supposed to be from stress.  Well, guess what, they're caused by bacteria.  Fibro is a spurrious diagnosis.  So is Somataforms

New research has proven Mycoplasmas and Borrelia are responsible for most if not all AI atypical and possibly typical AI illnesses.  Testing for mycoplasmas is extremely difficult since they grow SO slowly.  Mycos are very hard to culture without the proper medium. Borrelia are hard to find with standard tests because they cloak themselves with a surface protein that "attaches" the antibodies that are supposed to free float and give a test result.  So the antibodies dont circulate in the blood.  Standard tests don't work in this scenario.

While Geminigirl1963 has stated past thinking and to day Dr's try to get you to believe it more current research that shows you might want to look in the Infectious Mycoplasma and Lymes disease possibilities.  If your symptoms include  Brain fog, eye pain, tinntinitus, neck makes a chunching sound, sensativities to sound, light , smell, hypersensativities, food sensativaties with gluten and sugar, radiating nerve pain, stabbing sensations, joint and muscle pain, IBS, stomach cramps, ankles and feet hurt, joint and muscle pain, fasticulations, chronic headaches different from what you ever had, anxiety, CFS, fibro and if you are a woman, have had endometriosis or a hysterectomy, IT IS EITHER A MYCO INFECTION OR BORRELIA INFECTION or both.  It is not 10 different problems caused by 10 diff things, it' s  a chronic intracellular bacterial infection causing all of your symptoms.  In my researching over 300 people now, 99% have tested pos for mycos and or Lymes.

Irritable Bowel quite often goes along with fibro and from the symptoms you've stated, it sounds like you've probably got IBS along with your fibro.  Have you recently had any changes or additions to any medications?  If so, this could also be the cause of your GI troubles.

About the best advice I can give is to continue your healthy diet, drink plenty of water, get adequate exercise (I know how difficult that can be when you're in pain!).  You may find that eating several small meals throughout the day will make you feel less nauseated and be easier on your entire digestive tract than eating three full sized meals.

If you're finding that a lot of your nausea and stomach pains are happening at night or first thing in the morning, you could be suffering from GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease).  Avoid laying down for at least two hours after eating, avoid greasy foods, wear looser fitting clothing, elevate the head of your bed (you can buy bed risers at pretty much any department store - they come in a set of four, but you will only use two for the head of your bed), cut back (or out) caffeine and avoid smoking.

I hope you feel better soon!
