Potassium causing muscle cramps?
I have suffered with fibromyalgia for over twenty years.  It seems that the muscle cramps are getting worse as time goes by.  I have severe muscle cramps in my back, feet and hands.  It seems I get the cramps especially after consuming anything with potassium in it.  Last week after having a glass of V8 in the morning I went out to lunch and my hand went into a bad muscle cramp where I dropped my spoon.  I would like to know if anyone else experiences this or if someone knows what causes it.

I can releate.  I tend to have low patassium and magnesium both of which can cause muscle spasms.  B-12 deficit can do the same.

I would ask the doctor to run a nutritional panel.
