Problems with lips?

okay this is going to sound crazy but I have to wonder if anyone else has experienced this. I recently had a bout with costochondritis (which I have other posts about) at the same time my lips started feeling swollen. They don't look bigger but to me they feel fat, and they are burning like crazy. At first I thought it was due to sun exposure but it's been about 2 months now. My lips will get little splits like paper cuts and they seep some kind of fluid. They hurt soo bad. I've tried every lip medication product out there and nothing really helps me out. The funny thing is that I went on vacation last week, and my costochondritis cleared up, and so did my lips. They were both perfectly normal while on vacation. I came back to work yesterday and within a few hours the flare in my chest returned and today the lips are doing it again. Anyone had this issue? I know it sounds weird

I just read my post and I know it sounds like geez lady you have chapped lips but it's different than that.

I can't say that outside of really bad chapped lips that I've had that problem. I'm sorry that I have been no help, but I wanted to let you know that someone is thinking about you.

I just read my post and noticed that I should have said I've NOT had that problem. Must have been tired.
