Prof. Garth Nicolson is back answering questions starting 5/3/10

We're pleased to announce that Prof. Garth Nicolson, founder of the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Huntington Beach, CA will be here 5/3 to 5/5/10, 3 days in total, answering questions from MedHelp members regarding Autoimmune Disorders and the role infections play in chronic illnesses and treatments for these infections.  Beginning  5/1 the forum will be open, accepting a total of 30 questions for Dr. Nicolson's return 5/3 - 5/5/10.

Hi;

Thank you for being on here to answer questions;

My question is I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia-I can't help to think that it was started by a virus or infection.  My symptoms seemed to have really escalated after having toxic hepatitus (hepatitis) (from a toothached that I took acetementhan (too much) and then they prescribed tylenol codiene,)my liver enzymes went back down but since then i have had mucsy stool and sometimes just mucus. I went to the gastro doc had the colonoscopy and endoscope-showed some inflamation (inflammation) non determined non ulcerative colitis and overgrowth of bacteria?? (what kind i dont know) also had suffered from repeated ecoli vaginitis.. My symptoms with fibro started with feeling as though had the flu and really bad neck pain and now is just about evreywhere this has been evreyday for 9-10 months.  I was thinking of being tested for the EBV.  Thanks for any info!
