Thanks for your reply. I am wondering if the the tingling and trembling is due to tightening of the muscles around skull, neck and back from the trigger points (or this can be due to anxiety-maybe at the initial shock of the terrible pain and other weird symptoms of FMS). I have has an MRI scan because of the face pain, tinnitus and pressure feeling in my ears. I am going to have another in 3 months, M.S. a possibility, but tingling etc could be just stress. I am trying to push through my symptoms (as my life been on hold for a year) and now the edge has been taken off the terrible pain/stabbing/throbbing by taking Lyrica (tingling not helped by Lyrica) I will try to take back my life. Not quite sure how as exhausted most of the time. But Hey Ho thats life for you. Just trying not to let it control me anymore!!!!!!!
Hi read your post i do alot of that but never have replied before. i have been dx with fms for a year now after undergoing test after test, mri ect. with nero. i have told my dr remutal. cant spell at times either terrible memory, focusing problems. anyway i have told him about the trembling and shakes he said it had nothing to do with fms and referred me back to nerulogist who is doing another mri next week. i also have my legs arms jerk like you say the lryica i am on has helped alot with the burn, stabbing tingling pain but now taking me off til results of mri and because of the jerking i ma having. i havent read before anyone saying they have this shakes ect before so is it fms related, do you take lryica? my hands shake right now make it hard to type, when i eat i feel so clumsy.. dont feel my dr has been listening been telling him for mths about this. have hard time focus , memory and getting words out. Have you experienced this also? i have had 4 decent days in last 4 mths really having hard time deeling with this- not me total different persan. i also have hard time walking now been telling dr this too slower and sometimes more like shuffle?? i would appreciate any hearing from you thanks for realing this!
hi andie59,
i haven't had a hyster. yet but i plan to this year because of the additional problem i'm having during my monthly cycle.
i have the same areas of pain as you do, and i had to stop taking the lyrica because of headaches.
i've been dx with fms '00, artritis, and migraines.
the trembling/shakes comes to me early in the mornings or during a really bad flair up, it's looks likes parkin. desease my right side is the worst side for me. at night my legs jump up/down they do what they need to to get comfortable. burning, itching, swelling, skin sensitivity you name it, i've properly have dealt with it.
