Topamax-

Does anyone else here take Topamax for the intense spasms and jerking?  If so PLZ reply and let me know if it helps?...how it affects U?  If u have any better med suggestions for the intense jerking? I really need all the suggestions possible b4 I go back to the doc.  Appreciate  ur time....God Bless

Maybe Flexeril?
I took Topamax for years for my migraine, worked great. If you twitch is due to seizure activity, maybe Topamax would help.

I took topomax (topamax) for severe chronic migraines and had a lot of trouble with it.  I would get confused, I couldn't carry out the simplest of tasks like calculating if I received enough change back at mcdonalds one night.  I sent my boss at the time to atlanta and didn't book him a return ticket, I would be driving somewhere and forget where I was going.  I didn't sleep, metallic taste in my mouth.  My aunt on the contrary takes it and it has been life saving in regards to her headaches.  So I think everybody is different.

I agree with the above poster have you taken muscle relaxers or any RLS type medications?  Wishing you luck.
