Very Important article....Please Read!!!

I found this article tonight, and wanted to share the findings. Being a Diet Coke addict and haveing unexplained symptoms, and no diagnosis yet, this article really hit home with me. I consume probably a 12 pack a day of Diet Coke.
Please everyone go to the website and read this article, especially if you consume large amounts of aspertame, found in Diet drinks, sweet-n-low and equal.

My husband & I both stay away from aspartame. I don't trust the FDA at this point and have read too many articles and personal stories.

From my reading aspartame can mimic MS in a small percentage of cases.  It's worth trying for everyone i would think.  However, the folks who tout this tend to say it's most cases of MS and that's too optimistic.  Even if it doesn't cause symptoms, I saw pictures of mice on saccarin from my college professor's research and I've never used diet sugar substitutes since.  Poor creatures.  They drank from sugar sub water volunteerily so it wasn't from the concentration or amount.  Also, studies have shown imitation sugar coorelates with weight gain more than regular sugar.   They think the body gets confused and doesn't turn off the cravings for the sugar it's not getting.  (Those studies were before the newest sugar sub.)  Also, caffine dehydrates you, so that change alone can make a huge difference with these illnesses (CFS/FM).  12-pack a day is a lot of any chemical for the body to purge daily - I'm sure you'll feel better soon!
