What does my MRI mean

I've been diagnosed with FM, and tried all kinds of meds - none of which worked for pain.  Lyrica; Elavil; Cymbalta; Flexeril; Percoset and now I am on Tramadol.  I have widespread pain everywhere, swollen lymph nodes on my neck for weeks now, pain in shoulders & back is burning; legs is deep bone aches; arms are weak and fingers and knees stiff; as well as chronic headaches.

Recently i had an MRI of my brain, results as follows: There is a 7-mm focus of high T2/T2 FLAIR signal present within the periventricular white matter adjacent to the right frontal horn of the right lateral ventricle.  This is nonspecific.  17-mm retention cyst/polyp in the left maxillary sinus.

When I asked my doc what this meant he vaguely said "oh, it's just contrast they use."  Is that correct, or is this possibly indicative of something else.  I'm a 48 year old female.  Thanks!
