cfs?

does cfs cause constant symptoms, or can they come in bouts? i have bouts of extreme muscle weakness, exhaustion, swollen nodes under chin, diarreha, insomnia, and im always tender to the touch. even snapping my fingers or being hugged in a little painful. my doctor has ran very blood test and thinks its mental.... could this be cfs and how do i get him to test for it

Mine came and went more when it first started
I started feeling sick around jan09 and my main symptoms were mild fever, diarrhea, sweating, and that sick weak feeling. What blood work have you done? There is no test for CFS its a combination of symptoms and ruling out things that you can be tested for. For example: have you ruled out lupus, HIV, rheumatoid arthritis and lyme?
