chatroom

This might not be the place to ask this but, is there a chat room that med help members can go into and talk to each other about our illnesses and so on???

Not that I'm aware of, but we post and comment on all our issues here in the forum.  It's like a chat room but just takes a little longer to get a reply.  :-)

MH does not have chatrooms available.  I'm glad that they don't because the only way others will gain information is from members posting here, where it can be viewed by everyone.  I have nothing against chatrooms, other than one would have to be present and since MH is international the time zones and other factors would be an issue.  I do enjoy the forums...I can read at my own pace and respond without rushing, lol.

Yes I know what you are saying and I just never gave it any thought like that.  But it would be hard for everyone to get info... like they do on here.  But I just kind of thought maybe along with the forums ... maybe there was a chatroom also.  I guess just so people could get more aquainted with others.  But then its hard to tell who would all be on there to... cause I have noticed that in a few chatrooms that I have been in, there would be young kids and teenagers in there and talk about nasty language!! WOW!!!

OMG I know what you mean about the youngsters.  I enjoy visiting a game site that has chat and some of the rooms I have to leave due to the 'raunchiness', lol.  That is one of the pitfalls of having a chatroom.

I know what you are saying about getting better aquainted with members.  We do have the private messaging (like email) available.  You can reach out to others by that method.  If you ever want to vent or just chat...contact me anytime.  I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories.
