chest hurts due to fibro????

In June of last year I had a 99% block.  Had an angioplasty and a stent.  I didn't have a heart attack.  Now, since then when it's cold  or air conditioning is on, my chest hurts and has the same feeling it did when I went to urgent care, just not that intense pain.  My cardiac doctor says that it will be hard to treat me because of the fibro.  What I want to know is this, do any of you get chest pain when it's cold?  It hurts and my wrist hurts as well.  I've gone to urgent because of this just to make sure it isn't my heart and they tell my it's fibro.  I don't want to go outside when it's cold.  I live in CA.  Thank you for answering.

I have that terrible burning in my chest.  From what I have seen it is pretty normal to have this.  Talk to your doctor about possible GERD.  Movement, stress and things of that nature brings my chestpain on.

there are so many layers of small muscles in the chest area and not easy to stretch - coughing will make those act up and remember - very important
fibromyalgia does not like cold anything
yes my lungs and chest hurt when im in cold surroundings
and i think there are 2 or more tender points below the collerbone  1st or second rib down  near the center - just feel around there youll find them

Chest pains are a common symptom with Fibro. I seem to get them when Im stressed or upset. The pain is awful and it hurts to breathe,its like a stitch in my chest, but it doesn't last long. I had an ecg last year which was clear. I have a friend with FM who has been rushed to hospital twice with a suspected heart attack and it turned out to be Fibro. There is a proper long medical term for it which I can't remember LOL

I dont know why it would happen when your cold though. I would get it checked out by your dr just to be one the safe side. chest pains should never be ignored.
