Aw, I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I, too, have chronic pain and have had it for over 20 years. I won't lie to you and say it'll get any better, unless you're on some awesome pain meds, of course, or you get that miracle blessing of it totally disappearing!

What's really important is that you don't sit idle, because you could get muscle atrophy (loss of muscle, muscle wasting), and it's so very painful, that it could stop you from walking until you build your muscle back again. In addition to that, you could also get blood clots from lack of activity. (Had both, no fun!)

If walking is a problem for you, try doing light stretching exercises daily, even if it's in bed. You could also march in place, move your arms up and down as if you have weights in your hands (but don't!), do feet circles, knee to chin exercises, and all this, even just a little bit will help you.

Also, drink lots of water, and increase your fiber and protein intake. I occasionally drink the slim fast shakes (premade in cans) when I'm feeling really bad because they're very high in protein and fiber, and it's what we need for our muscles and digestion system. It's also great to not stand and make a meal when I can just grab it out of the fridge. (No need to be overweight for this drink! It helps in other areas, too!)

Good luck to you! ((hugs))
