Add me to the dry eyes club. I hate it, and I know how very uncomfortable this is.
my eyes are dry and burn all the time--but i have no problem crying--i do it almost daily. i have 3 children with celiac disease and one of them has dry eyes---eye doc said he only had ahandful of teenagers with dry eyes when she was diagnosed with them. i asked about sjogren's because of the celic--he said it was a possibility. she got glassses instead of contacts--but eventually tried contacts anyway and doesn't seem to have a problem with them.
my eyes get feeling kind of gritty sometimes, too. somewhere i think i read dry eyes was just another symptom of fibro--who knows? good luck1
UPDATE: have been app warm comps. Eyes have a little more moisture but inner cheeks are getting bumps (water build up) on both sides. When I prod the bump water drains from near/under it. This is diff from very painful swelling of s-glands under L-side of tongue 2 months ago.
Now eyes are itchy, a little moist, and right eye twitch is in all four spots again. (yippee...) Still doubting sjogren's is responsible.
Will update more when I can straighten my arms w/o so much pain.
Seeing neuro 2/2 (found out after making apt he doesn't do s's).
Thanks everyone!
Hey P. Hope things are a bit better now. I've been having a great deal of trouble with hands/wrist, but I've wondered how you are. Take care.
Hi Buffy, recently I was crying....only from my left eye.
I have Sjogren's and the Lymes diseases we've talked about.
