I'm a bit bumpy too! My shins are bad my jaw line too, tender to touch, I also seem to have a couple of hard pea like lumps in my neck that have made themselves at home for probably 5 years, the docs are not concerned, my neck and shoulders are lumpy (larger)
and extremly painful but this I put down to tension knots, I don't have any answers but I can let you know you're not on your own with them!

You are so welcome.  It was no trouble at all, that is why we are here.

I don't know what sort of test you have had so far, but someone should be able to give you a definitive answer on what these manifestations are and what may be causing them.  If you do not feel it is related to arthritis and can't get help from a rheumatologist, don't hesitate to contact someone who works with endoctrine disorders or an infectious specialist in your area.

Take care and please keep in touch to let us know how you are.

It's very difficult to tell because we can't actually see the lumps. Have you been tested for Lupus?  You can have fibro and arthritis at the same time and certain types of arthritis can cause bone deformation (knots) especially in your fingers and hands.

If you haven't been to a Rheumatologist, I think that would be the place to begin.  If follow-up is necessary, they may refer you to a dermatologist.  Right now it would be good if you have more testing done to rule out other possible causes.  I believe, were it something as serious as bone cancer, it would be reflected in your bloodwork.

I wish you the best and hope you get relief from the pain soon.  Take care.
