I wrote a bunch over time, especially to scoobyuk2, about what works for me. I can't take drugs, so everything I do is behavior oriented or food/thing avoidance. I'm not going to try to retype everything, but if your run into questions...let us know. Check out dysautonomias, food sensitivities, very graduated exercise... Also, just knowing what's going on in one's body but researching the symptoms and so on, can give you ideas of how to "manage" for it, so that the "living in" box gets bigger and bigger. Various vitamins (such as b12) can help or careful balancing of them can help - it takes a while to get a feel for it, and it's individualized. So of the alternative stuff like accupuncture helps some people, but there are so many poor practicioners (or things that aren't right for a particular person) that caution is the word. As you go down the posts, I put in names of various organizations and well known doctors. Those site are great places to start. Going to a local support group can give you the buzz words you'll want to google....
Thanks. I have been reading the posts and have already learned so much. Is there anything out there non prescription that you know of that has actually helped. They are trying to stay away from the prescriptions drugs if possible. Or do you know where I could look.
You'll need to do research since both those subjects are complex, in order to know what vits and exercise you want to try. Yes, both can help significantly. As can other things. There's a lot to learn. If you start reading down the posts on this forum, you'll probably see some good places to start...
