my left side musles

hello my left of my body from my neck and to my breast has in the last half a year all ome up painful muscls and visable swelling ..    i get the same on my inside of my thigh on left side too right at the top of my leg, it came up swollenyou could tell it was the muscles again and hurt alot, since this swelling occured none of said parts have gone back down to the size of my right side,,, the only place i do get this on my right it near my lower rib /stomach muscles on the far side its like i have a stitch and you can feel its up too.....l    i have had other symptoms and was told its post viral, alot of them are a lot better .. if anyone has similar muscle symptoms where they been up or come up and go evn please can you get in touch,,  when i have asked my gp bout it he just says well some muscles may be bigger on one sidfe that another.. but thats bull cos its only happened since i been sick

I, too, am sorry for your problem. I have not experienced any true swelling. I have experienced a feeling of swelling in hands and feet which dr. says are not swollen but felling that way (according to him) is part of FMS.  I know your's if really swollen. I haven't experienced this. I believe I would bring it up with dr. again. Maybe if you could see dr. when swelling is occuring, then he could see it.

Sorry that you're having this problem. I personally haven't experienced this. I worked with a lady who was nearly disabled from Fibro, I had never heard of it before meeting her. She would swell, I remember her neck and shoulder swelling up really badly. Of course she had a l ot of pain in those areas as well. I worked with her for about 5 years and I don't think her swelling ever completely went away.
