i had been seeing a chiropractor - a good one - for my body being generally bent out of shape after years of heavy lifting and wear-n-tear.
i was telling a friend, "hey the chiropractic is good, but wouldn't it be good if my muscles didn't yank my joints out of shape, in the first place - ?"
he said "aha, you need an osteopath". i'd never heard of one.
so basically they manipulate muscles, tendons, and tissue fluids. it's mostly very gentle, you wouldn't think they were doing anything if it didn't show such good results. my osteo also fixed my sore shoulder. they also are involved with correction of infants' posture that may have been a bit bent during birth. all sorts of things...
i just got enthusiastic there and chimed in!
glad you're finding it helpful. i found it helpful for quality of life - helped me sleep better, which helped feel better. she straightened my posture out. pretty impressive. and also got me off my motorcycle which was causing me most of my neck problems. i can ask her anything about posture - e.g. sitting at computer... shoes... pillow... anything! - and she has suggestions for everything!
if you've found a good osteopath, stick with them
i should probably go a couple times a year,
bon chance
Hello! If you don't mind me asking, what is Osteopathie? I haven't tried it as you can tell. But, I have an appointment today to see a Holistic doctor. What type of pain issues do you have? Good luck
