hi dusty. i have tried physical therapy and didnt get much relief. the doctors have put me on hydrocodone and several different NSAID's. the only thing ive gotten any relief from has been the hydrocodone. lyrica has been offered, im just a little nervous about the side effects. but it is good to hear that it really does help with the pain.
thanks for the suggestions.

i found cutting back on dairy [milk, cheese] helped reduce the inflammation. butter okay. so i've switched to coconut milk. anyway, just a suggestion, might help. i have cfs, not fibro. oh, i believe magnesium powder supplement helped too...
good luck...

Hello,
I am sorry to hear about your pain. I began my struggle with pain when I was 17 as well, so I know what you are going through. What if anything has the doctors offered you for pain relief? Have you tried physical therapy or any exercise programs? When I was 17 I was just given Ibuprofen and that of course didn't do anything. You may want to ask for Lyrica or Neurontin in addition to some PT. That seems to be very helpful for Fibromyalgia and Lyrica is approved for Fibro. I've taken it and it works very well. There are some side effects, but not everyone experiences them, so I would have a discussion with your doctor. Good luck to you.
