I would definitely seek out a doctors care. Profuse sweating can be caused by a number of things. It's hard to know exactly what could be your root cause. There is a risk, since you mentioned recently being sick, that an infection of some sort could be the cause. Please check back with us after you see your doctor. Good luck.

Could this be hormonal? From what you are saying you keep getting a cold and the flu?  I would get your blood work checked to make sure there isn't something going on. You mention you live in the tropics, could you have been bitten by something?  I think blood tests could tell you a lot.  Sounds to me like your body is fighting something, that's why the sweat.  Until you find out what this is I wouldn't load up on antibiotics.  If it's viral antibiotics will just make you feel worse and can't help.  Good luck, keep in touch and let us know what you find out.
