I can relate to everything you explained and have experienced all of these things. Having the sensations in my face made me think I was going to have a stroke. I'm about to leave for vacation so i will be offlline until next week. I'll be happy to talk with you more
All I can suggest if that ask if your Rhumy handles a lot of fibro patients. If he does then stick with him and it may take him some time to make a diagnosis. I don't think he would want to tell you too early that it is Fibro b/c I'm sure he hopes that it will go away. If the problems continue just keep a log and inform your doctor.
I hope you feel some relief knowing that you're not alone
hi thanks for your info, u asked me off my symptom ok here goes...
firstly i had a bad virus got a cold sore on lip and felt really bad with it, never really seemed to recover fully, i started to notice first intense pins and needles in my right foot going up to my kne relly bad and this went on for weeks and my right foot felt numb when walking on it.... nausea and dizzyness was the next thing and an really itchy ear that felt blocked , which i still have now.. i was told it was exema in the ear...? couldnt hardly walk to well couldnt focus when out shopping felt sick n dizzy and in a daze this lasted for a good few weeks that intense, really cold feet freezing no matter if i had loads on them ..a creepy feeling sensation on the right side of my face around the cheeka nd ear.eyes all bleary and couldnt seem to focus too well.. i had these symptoms bad for a few weeks, sick, and then the aches started, really bad, and the joints too, some of my muscles swelling up, and still noticbley different than other side now months later, head aches sore throat, cld shivers and still the whole 9 months had tingling feeling although some days hardly notice it at all.. but the most recent thing is my glands which is whyy i put post up, i have had two sets of blood done came back ok.. and seen a rhumy who said i have postviral, fatigue symdrome and wioll go in time.... my glands were not up at the time
I agree with the previous post, if you could share more information that may help. I also have swollen glands most of the time which I relate to my Fibromyalgia. Sometimes my armpits get very sore and I'll notice the glands are swollen.
I'm not sure if this answers your question, but according to diagnosing criteria published by medical sources, including the Centers for Disease Control, "swollen lymph nodes" are also a major symptom of CFS. These are commonly located in the neck, just under the tonsil area on both sides, with swelling being detectable to the touch. Lymph nodes under the armpits are also commonly found to be swollen, also detectable by touch.
I'm not sure about the groin area. Can you list all of your symptoms and the tests you've had ?
