Yes i have had FMS since back late 80s early 90s and migraines and chronic sinuitis and severe allergies was some of my first symtoms, then along came mental confusion and fatigue ........much more...., I do  get vertigo quite often, it came along after the chronic sinuits, but you need to make sure you see a ear specialist to rule out any other problems. I have chronic sinuitis and that is apart of fms, So if i get to congested in my sinuses then it goes down into ears then i get a lot of fluied in my ears and boom i get vertigo. The one thing i do at home to help myself, is to use swimmers ear drops in my ears anytime i start having hearing problems, such as ringing , popping, hearing going in and out , or just the sinsation that i might have fluid in my ears , im sure you know all the symstoms. Your ear doctor may want to put you on some allergy meds such as, nasal spray and antehistimines. So be sure to see that ear doc and to have a scan and mri.  If you just have been diagnosied and havent had fms for long please try to read up on it and try your best to stay in shape and to avoid heavy lifting and repition, i really stress this to ppls , i hate to see anyone get in worst shape, i had to learn the hard way, and its does effect you life so dearly sometimes its almost impossible to go on so be safe ...................Much Love

Yes it can cause Vertigo!! I have had Fibro for over 13 years and I have been in the ER so many times from falling and injurying myself they know me really well. I have hurt my ankles so much from tripping my own self up. I get dizzy very easy all the time. I don't know why Fibro causes Vertigo, but experiencing it first hand I must say yes. Plus the books I read on it, it does say Vertigo is one of the symptoms. Good Luck! Pamm
