I feel your pain, literally. I am so sorry that you have been diagnosed with this condition. I have been told that water thearapy helps. I have not tried this yet. Massage does help, now I have been told not to have any deep tissue massage as that was very painful for me. I was diagnosed over twelve years ago and I have yet to find anything that really helps. It becomes very frustrating. The main thing that I want to stress to you is that you are not alone and that you are not crazy (you may be depressed and with good reason) , lazy or a hypochondriac. You need to find something that will help you to sleep. Sleep is very important in your treatment. Restorative sleep is when your body heals itself. You will have good days, do not get me wrong and there will be times when you feel as if you are in remission. Take advantage of these days but DO NOT over do it. Some people are doing really well with Lyrica, I am not one of them. But hopefully you will be. I am thankful that there is now recognition regarding Fibro and hopefully they will find a cure in our life time. And I hope you find a good Rheumatologist that is understanding and willing to work with you.
Good luck and God Bless you.
Be sure to see a Rheumatologist. They are the specialist that deals with Fibromyalgia. You could probably feel some better with a really good Physical Therapy session for 3 days a week for approximately 8 weeks to get started on a good regimine of dealing with this disease.
Good luck and God Bless
