what is my condition

I have all over body pain.   I wake in the mornings and can barely walk.  I wake up during the nights and my hands are numb.  Usually more so my right hand.  Sometime I have to get up out of bed and it takes up to 10 minutes at times to wake it up.  I cannot make a fist when I first wake up.  Mostly my pain is in my fingers, thighs, and butt.   I do have chronic lower back pain and am being treated for that.  What is wrong with me??

I really feel a rheumatologist is a great idea.  She can rule out Lupus, sjorgrens, Fibromyalga so forth.  A good rheumy will also refere you to other doctors for some of you stymptoms.  Are you tired all the time?  Your story sounds like me when I get up.  I have Fribro and colitus.  The pain I have links to the Fibro.  I take Lyrica and it really helps.  There is help out there for you.  I would also call a good Chiropracter.  A good adjustment may help with some of the tingling, especially if it is nerve related.
Have a great day, Gen

Thanks for your reply.   I just had lab work done and my RF factors were negative.  I am planning a trip to my PCP.

Hi ! Have you seen a rheumatologist and neurologist yet ? If not, I would consider speaking to your primary care physician and getting a referral. One thing you may want to also find out is whether or not your numbness and overall pain could be related to your back pain.

I can tell you that MedHelp is having some upcoming live health chats with health care professionals. There will be live discussion on chiropractic care and if you are interested, you can join the chat and ask your questions. Here is the information:
