Period after birth?

I had my baby on 09/25/12 3 months ago, and at my postpartum visit I got the depo shot. I have not got my period? When did u moms get it? Could the shot be delaying it?

are you breastfeeding? my baby is 5months old (breastfed) and i havnt had my period so far and not using any birth control. if your not breastfeeding it could be the shot, i'm not sure.
