hiccups... ALOT

ATTENTION ALL MOMMYS!!!!!! is it normal for my daughter to get uncontrollable hiccups like literally 12 times a day?? I've told her pediatrician and they say its normal but seriously its out of control.

My son is ALWAYS getting the hiccups!!! I'd say its normal!

medication side effects acid reflux , infections, can be a cause but many children do hiccup a lot Over eating can make it happen , how old is she , how much does she eat ..

shes 12 days old n shes eating every 4 hours 3 ounces

My 6 weeks old hiccup a lot too. Almost after ever feeding. I EBF so she can't be over eating. I guess it normal because she seem fine with it.

no I agree too young for over eating ..it could be that she is taking her feed too quickly and getting air which will also increase burping so make sure she is well burped if patting doesn't work , try sitting her up with left hand on tummy and stroking her back .
